Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Mazda CX-5, we're gonna be showing you how to install the CURT inch and a quarter Trailer Hitch Receiver. Before we do that though, why don't we just take a couple of minutes check this out and make sure it's going to be right for you. With this hitch, having the smaller inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening, this is something I usually recommend if you already have an accessory that'll work with this size hitch, or if you really only plan on using smaller bike racks, things of that nature. If you want a little bit more, if you plan on doing some towing or using larger bike racks or cargo carriers, I usually recommend the larger two inch by two inch hitch. There's just a lot more stuff available for those, and they're a little more heavy duty, a little more capable, if you're interested in those, the one that I particularly like is the etrailer.com one. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is a hidden cross tube which means that all of the hitch is pretty well hidden behind the rear fascia except for the actual receiver tube opening, so that's gonna make it really nice. You get a clean look, but all the function of your hitch. Now being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means that you're gonna have a ton of different accessories to choose from, whether it be ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers. This is kind of the standard size that you'll see a lot of them come in and all of them are gonna stay in place with a 5/8" pin and clip which is not included with the hitch. A lot of your accessories will come with one but it's gonna be required to keep that in place. more

Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is a hidden cross tube meaning that the only portion that you're gonna see outside of the vehicle is gonna be the inch and quarter inch receiver tube opening. And with this size you are gonna be a little bit limited as far as bike racks or cargo carriers that you'll be able to get. There are other hitches available for this that are gonna be two inch. That'll also give you a little higher capacity, but if the accessories you have are gonna be inch and quarter it's gonna work great on here. Now, those accessories are gonna stay in place with a half inch pin and clip and this is not included with the hitch. more

Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Mazda CX-30 and we're gonna be taking a look at and doing an installation on the CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is gonna be a 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 inch receiver tube that is going to mount to the rear of your vehicle to allow you to carry different accessories such as bike racks, smaller cargo carriers or maybe even tow a trailer with a ball mount. Speaking of towing a trailer it's going to have nice large safety chain loops to accept various different types of safety chains and it's going to feature a 1/2 inch hitch pin hole to accept a 1/2 inch hitch pin. This does not come with your kit but we do have them available on our website. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Mazda CX-9- Video

Narrator Today on our 2015 Mazda CX-9, we'll be installing the CURT trailer hitch receiver, Class 2 with an 1-1/4" opening, part #C12112. Now as you see here, this is what our hitch looks like on our Mazda CX-9. Things are very tucked nicely, up underneath the bumper cover, and attached up to the frame. The nice thing about this hitch: extremely, extremely easy to install. All you have to do: lift your hitch up and install the hardware into the frame, into the built-in well nuts, tighten and torque, and you're ready to hit the road. I see there's a nice black powder coat finish; that's gonna resist rush and corrosion. more

Today in our 2010 Mazda CX Nine, we're gonna do a review and install of the Curt class two, one and a quarter inch receiver two pitch, part number C12112. Here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. As you can see it's a fully welded construction with a nice black finish. So it blends in with the underbody of our vehicle. Here, we have a rectangular cross tube and a receiver tube, keeping a good percentage of our hitch hidden behind the rear face ship. This is a one and a quarter inch by one and a quarter inch receiver tube, half inch pre-drilled hole on both sides of the receiver tube for our pin or lock and chain hold downs for securing our trailer. more

But before we do that, Why don't have to check it out and make sure such will work for you. So with this hitch having the smaller inch a quarter by inching a quarter opening, this will be a good choice for the those of you that are primarily plan on only using smaller bike racks and things like that especially if you already have a bike rack with this saris hitch that inch and quarter by inch and a quarter shank and you don't feel like having to pick up a new bike rack. You already like it and everything else. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Mazda CX-5- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch hidden trailer hitch receiver here on our 2021 Mazda CX5. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our CX5 here. Now, as the name says, this actually has a hidden design, which means the cross tube is gonna be tucked away behind the bumper. So the only thing we are gonna be able to see is the receiver tube, which gives us the best overall appearance. Now what we can see the receiver tube, as well as the rest of the hitch is gonna have that hammer black powder coated finish, which is gonna do a great job of helping protect that hitch over time, being that it's on the underside of the vehicle and subjected to the elements. So adding a trailer hitch to your CX5 is gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2021 Mazda CX-5- Video

Hi there Mazda owners today in your 2021 Mazda CX nine, we're going to be taking a look at it, and we're going to show you how to install curt's one and a quarter inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed, and so one and a quarter inch receiver. So it's going to be great for accessories, such as bike racks and some of the smaller cargo carriers. It can also be used for some light duty towing as well. We can see here that when it's installed, the cross tube is going to be hidden completely behind our bumper. So we're really just going to see the receiver here at the back and with it being a one and a quarter inch, it's fairly small and tucked up fairly far underneath the vehicle. more
